Shanjitha Rajasingam to join Atlantic Institute as team coordinator

Shanjitha Rajasingam will be joining the Atlantic Institute as Team Coordinator on July 13 to provide support for convenings and programming.

A Tamil-Canadian, she has a passion for social change, equity and inclusion. She spent has six years working in the philanthropic sector, with her previous role as Grants Coordinator at the Catherine Donnelly Foundation in Canada, which is committed to promoting positive social change by funding and financing initiatives related to the environment, housing and homelessness as well as adult education.

She has a bachelor's undergraduate degree in Women & Gender Studies and Sociology from the University of Toronto; and holds a postgraduate certificate program in digital media marketing from George Brown College, Toronto.

"I am excited about the opportunity to support a global hub of leaders addressing the root causes of inequities, locally and globally," Shanjitha said. "I have a deep passion for social change and I am a true believer in the power of collaboration and collective action for greater impact."  

In her spare time, Shanjitha loves teaching yoga and is a great believer in its transformative, healing and uplifting powers. She supports people in living physically well and mentally resilient lives.
