Sourcing hospital beds. Saving lives. Atlantic Fellows in Buenos Aires working with the community throughout COVID-19

COVID-19 placed an enormous strain on health resources across the world, including in Quilmes, a suburb of Buenos Aires in Argentina. There, two Global Atlantic Fellows got together and working with their community, assessed how best to promptly source available hospital beds across hospitals in real time, in turn, saving lives. This film shows how Sylvia Kochen, an Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health and Jonatan Konfino, an Atlantic Fellow for Heath Equity, US + Global, collaborated for impact in their shared mission for fairer, healthier, more inclusive societies.
